The lingual or invisible approach to orthodontics underpins much of Asif’s work. He was the founder in 2005 of the UK’s first practice dedicated to lingual orthodontics.

In addition to his clinical work, he lectures in lingual orthodontics on the Diploma course at Warwick University, belongs to many orthodontic organisations and he is a member of the organising committee for the next congress of the European Society of Lingual Orthodontics.

Due to his reputation as a clinician and status as the founder of the UK’s first lingual practice, his practice is used to trial new products and techniques.
